Pirates launch second cadet flag team based in EK

Following on from the growing success of our Hamilton Buccaneers cadet flag team for ages 9-13, we’re delighted to share the news that we’re launching a second cadet flag team – based in East Kilbride.

Our East Kilbride Pirates cadet team will also welcome players aged 9-13 and will run on Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm alongside our youth contact team at Duncanrig High School, Winnipeg Drive, G75 8ZT.  For 2020 the team will run as a BAFA associate team, and look to play friendlies against other local school and BAFA cadet flag teams, as well as our Hamilton Buccaneers cadet flag team.

Please contact juniors@piratesfootball.co.uk to find out more about getting your child involved.  We’re also running a taster session for interested new players for both our cadet flag teams on Saturday 15 February indoors in the sports hall at John Wright Sports Centre, East Kilbride from 2.15-3.30pm in conjunction with the UK Dukes!

Coaches wanted
To help us grow our new cadet flag team, we’re looking for volunteers aged over 18+ to help coach, and 16+ to help assist. We’re also looking for people interested in helping coach our youth contact team on Tuesday evenings from 7-8.30pm at Duncanrig.  If you’re interested in any of these roles, please contact juniors@piratesfootball.co.uk
