Rookie day set for Sun 10th January

Want to play for the Pirates? Come along to our rookie session at Hamilton Palace Sports Ground on Sunday 10 January from 12.30-3pm.

We’ll start off with a welcome meeting in the bowls hall from 12.30-1.00pm where you’ll get a chance to find out more about playing for the Pirates, complete some paperwork and meet some of the team. We’ll then move straight to the indoor 3G pitch where you’ll get put through your paces – so be ready to go!

No equipment is needed for this session. Wear footwear suitable for training on an indoor synthetic pitch and bring your enthusiasm! Sign up to our invite if you plan to head along.

If you have fun and want to get involved, then regular training sessions will be every Sunday from 1-3pm, with additional Thursday evening 7-9pm sessions from April onwards.

Please also join our rookie Facebook group. Over the next few weeks we’ll be posting up lots of information about the club and our rookie day and you’ll be able to ask our coaches and veteran players any questions you might have.
